
TelePACE Studio is designed to be a flexible work environment and users are encouraged to modify the workspace to meet their needs. As described below, views can be arranged in any manner that suits the user. This is the Default Layout for TelePACE Studio.

When TelePACE Studio is started for the first time it is opened with six default views in the workspace, the Function_Block_Toolbox, Network_Canvas, Serial Port Settings, Register Assignment, Tag Management, and Diagnostics. No project configurations are lost when the Default Layout button is used. TelePACE workspace will rearrange itself to the default layout. To restore the TelePACE default layout: Click the Default Layout button. The Default layout button provides a simple method to return the workspace to the default layout. Views may be moved and docked into any position in the workspace. The TelePACE workspace is fully configurable to meet the individual needs of users. The Default Layout button returns the TelePACE workspace to the default layout as shown below. See the section Managing Views for information on customizing the TelePACE workspace. The TelePACE workspace may be modified for personal use. The Default Layout contains all the views needed to create a TelePACE project. The configuration of the TelePACE workspace involves setting views required to configure the needed parameters for an application. Define the Communication Interface settings. Best results, particularly for new users, will be obtained using the following sequence: Configure TelePACE workspace. A Ladder Logic program may be developed in any sequence.
